A New Look for Hugo Boss Green

For the Autumn/Winter 2013 season, Hugo Boss has introduced a new logo for their Green Label collection, also known as the Boss Pro Collection, to bring a fresh look to this a very popular sub-brand. The German designer label has been enjoying much success in recent years with the successful sponsorship of Ryder Cup winner Martin Kaymer and whilst they have not altered the iconic BOSS HUGO BOSS logo incredibly much, the reduction in size for their Tour Golf Collection logo has certainly turned a few heads.

Whilst the majority of Hugo Boss customers buy into each collection for the quality, consistency and style that Boss garments provide – many also invest their cash for the brand identity and aura which surrounds the famous BHB logo. It is for this reason that their decision to reduce the size of the Tour Logo may well have been an undue risk, though the general reaction to the change has been very positive and has been welcomed for providing something different for the new season.

Another minor adjustment to the Green Label collection from Hugo Boss was the introduction of four collections per year, rather than the customary two as with every other golf brand. Taking a look at the Autumn range itself, fresh colours such as ‘Kiwi Green’, ‘Vallarta Blue’ and ‘Jester Red’ run throughout the collection and have been hugely popular, working together with Hugo Boss’s continued technical brilliance to make this a very successful range.

An extra sub-collection also exists for Autumn which pays homage to the mentioned sponsorship of Martin Kaymer, with the technical MK range incorporating more premium fabrics for extra performance on the course. Developed and worn on the professional golf tour by Martin himself, the Hugo Boss x Martin Kaymer range is available from selected Hugo Boss Green Label retailers and is well worth considering for the serious golfer.
