Anthony Kim discusses the routine he goes through before he drives the golf ball. Stephanie Sparks interviews Kim as he shows the important parts of the golf swing before he steps up to drive the ball. He explains that it is imperative that the club face gets back to the ball square. To do that he stops the club at waist height and and ensures that it is square or even slightly open. From there Kim simply focuses on turning. If he gets the club the the right place at waist height he knows his swing is in good shape.

Kim states that the amateur golfer thinks too much about the top of the golf swing instead of focusing on the beginning and keeping the lower body stable. By going halfway back, turning to the top of the swing and turning through your golf swing will be more consistent. If the club goes past parallel at the top “nothing good happens”. This online golf lesson gives you visual ways of improving your drive.
